Pernod Ricard is a major French drinks company. It was made in 1975 when two pastis makers, Pernod (started in 1805) and Ricard (started in 1932), joined together. Today, it is the world's second-biggest wine and spirit seller. The boss is Alexandre Ricard, the grandson of founder Paul Ricard.
